Advancing Apprentices and Trainees through a range of Sustainability focussed Vocational Education and Training options.
Through WPC Greenskills Initiative, WPC is delighted to be involved with Group Training Victoria and Sustainability Victoria to bring employers and employees the ‘Sustainability 101’ pilot youth environmental employment initiative. Sustainability 101 is a series of 12 environmental projects that students can select and complete in the workplace, sharing the knowledge with the business and assist the with environmentally sustainable improvements in their work group.
WPC have committed to placing 10 Trainees through the program to work through the modules. WPC will be Training the students in our new dedicated Sustainability Business Skills registered Training Organization. WPC Group CEO Nicholas Wyman said “a key advantage of this initiative is that the 12 environmental projects can be undertaken individually or students can progressively work through the projects" a full listing of the available modules is available here.
